Criteria for Evaluating System Enhancements (COG Policy)
General Objective
The Libraries should maintain and enhance the quality and integrity of the system and system content in order to serve the needs of the Libraries primary clientele-- students, faculty, and staff--and the citizens of Colorado.

Definitions of Criteria
- Ability to implement product or project
Assesses the Libraries ability to commit to and support a product or project.
- Impact of product or project
Assesses the internal and external effects of implementing a product or project.
- Impact on integration
Assesses the ability of a product or project to integrate successfully with the Libraries system, resources, and service efforts.
- Quality of product or project
Assesses the inherent merits and characteristics of a product or project.
- Status of product or project as a prior
commitment
Assesses the relationship of a product or product to outstanding commitments from prior years.
- Technological currency of product or
project
Assesses the quality of a product or project in terms of technological advances and state-of-the-art currency.
