Fellowships

Travel grants of $800 per month for one- or two-month periods to use the AMRC collections are periodically awarded to qualified visiting scholars doing pre- or post-doctoral work or independent research. Grant recipients are normally expected to be in regular residence at the AMRC for a minimum period of one month.

Applicants should have completed application forms to the Center at least six months prior to the anticipated date of arrival. Although visitors are welcome at any time during the year, fellowships are not generally available for the months of October, November and December.
