Discussed issues around the E-Government Act of 2001 (S.803). 6. Electronic Frustration. How to find out if a pub. has gone electronic. GPO often doesn't know. Suggestions: Docs Data Miner; GPO PURL Alert. 7. ALA Update. Tim reported on the ALA conference. GODORT was boring; DiMario have GPO update; Fran Buckley still depressed; T.C. Evans: GPO Access states getting lots of use; E-CFR; GPO Training Manual; RIE hasn't been printed in 8 months. 8. CLA Future. Chris discussed decision which will have to be made: whether CLA GODART becomes a division within CAL (requiring by-laws and officers), or an interest group. 9. Item Selection Update 10. New Business: Rob: AALL fugitive documents project: 35 docs have been discovered within the scope of the project; Gil Baldwin will design Web form for reporting fugitive docs; Discussed cataloging of fugitive docs (Marcive or cooperative cataloging initiatives) 12. Library Significant events: Auraria: Admin position still open. Louise discussed the purchase of new domain name: auraria.edu But the domain "gods" want to take away this domain from them, since Auraria itself is not a degree-granting institution. But their Web pages are full of links to the new domain. Colorado College (Julie): Staff members want to come back and work. --meeting ended before other could report on library events, so that we could watch the falcons fly. .
