This page may be used as a finding guide to documents available on the Census Bureau's Special Collections web page, which includes non-Decennial Census reports, bulletins, special reports, and congressional and administrative documents published from the late 1800s through the mid 1980s, although the majority are from the early to mid 1900s.

 

Documents are available in PDF format. They can also be downloaded as ZIP files from the Census Bureau .

 

The collection is not a complete one. Please look at the Decennial Census of Population and Housing collection as well as the Bureau of the Census Catalog of Publications: 1790-1972, the Census Catalog and Guide, and the Catalog of Government Publications to locate other published materials.
