- Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC)
The U.S. Department of Energy's primary center for climate-change data and information analysis. Contains data and information products. See the sidebar on the right to search for publications and data by subject area. - Climate and Weather CD-ROMs
These CD-ROMs contain climatological data and are available on two computers in the Government Information Library. All data come from agencies within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). - Climate Prediction Center

This center provides access to data on local weather and rainfall. - Earth Observing System
Includes images and text documenting aspects of global climate change including land use, greenhouse effect, changes in the polar ice cap, ozone depletion, deforestation and other topics.
