  • Global Legal Information Network "The Global Legal Information Network (GLIN) provides a database of national laws from contributing countries around the world accessed from a World Wide Web server of the U.S. Library of Congress. The database consists of searchable legal abstracts in English and some full texts of laws in the language of the contributing country. It provides information on national legislation from more than 35 countries, with other countries being added on a continuing basis."
  • Government Gazettes Online provides a collection of links to foreign legal gazettes on the web. The gazettes are listed by country. Annotations include the title, URL, price, language, frequency, time coverage, and contents.
  • World Court Decisions, 1946- and information about the International Court of Justice (World Court).
  • World Court Digest "The World Court Digest represents a reproduction, in a systematic arrangement, of the views on questions of international law which are expressed in the judgements, advisory opinions and orders of the International Court of Justice as well as in the separate opinions of individual judges." Currently covers 1986-1995.

  • Cornell Law Library provides guides to legal research in foreign and international law.
  • Congressional Research Service (CRS) CU, the research arm of Congress, prepares reports (usually under 20 pages long) on topics of interest to members of Congress. Enter "administrative law and procedure", "judicial reform", "law", "law suits", "lawyers", "legal education", or "legal ethics" as search terms.
  • ECOLEX--a gateway to international environmental law. "Users can search using subject area, keyword, country, or date. The list of subjects includes, for example: climate/atmosphere; fresh water; marine environment; soils; forests; biodiversity; energy; protected areas; hazardous substances; and wastes. ECOLEX includes information on multilateral treaties; national legislation; European Union instruments; international 'soft law' and related documents; law and policy literature; and judicial decisions."
  • Environmental Treaties and Resource Indicators (ENTRI) , from the Consortium for International Earth Science Information Network. Allows online browsing and searching of full text, summaries, and status of treaties and other international agreements related to global environmental change.

    • FindLaw State Cases and Codes
    • LexisNexis State Capital CU provides access to bills, statutes and constitutions, digests of state law, proposed and final regulations, legislative directories, and news. Although the service covers all fifty states, some types of information are not available for all states. For example, proposed regulations for the State of Colorado are available online, but the final regulations are not available because of copyright restrictions.
