  • American National Election Studies
    ANES conducts national surveys of the American electorate in election years. The datasets consist of the time series studies (conducted since 1948) collected around each national election and pilot studies conducted in "off-years" to test or refine the time series studies.
  • Eurobarometer
    This survey is conducted by the European Union of the public opinion of its member states. These surveys "address major topics concerning European citizenship: enlargement, social situation, health, culture, information technology, environment, the Euro, defence, etc."
  • Gallup Poll
    "The Gallup Poll covers new social and business-related issues every week. Special reports provide in-depth analysis on social and commercial issues around the world. Key reports and data are archived from March 96 to present."
  • Gallup Poll Monthly
    A print publication housed in the Reference Department. Indexed by Statistical CU choose "Search Abstracts" to get summaries of articles.
  • Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research home page CU This database contains data sets on social and political issues, including selected polling data.
  • iPoll CU
    Search and retrieve US public opinion data from the comprehensive archives of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. A full-text, searchable retrieval system, the iPOLL online database is organized at the question-level, archived from national public opinion surveys since 1935.
  • The Pew Research Center for People & The Press
    "The Center's purpose is to serve as a forum for ideas on media and public policy through the conduct of public opinion research. In this role it serves as an important information resource for political leaders, journalists, scholars, and public interest organizations."
  • Polling Report.com
    This site summarizes polls conducted by polling organizations such as Gallup, Harris, and Pew Research Center. Poll results grouped into the following areas: Politics & Policy, Business & Economy, and American Scene.
  • Public Agenda Online
    This group provides non-partisan public opinion and policy analysis. The issues library contains background information on an issue, including a fact file and two or more positions on an issue. In addition, the site provides a sampling of public opinion on the issue.
  • Polling the Nations CU
    This database contains a compilation of more than 14,000 surveys conducted by more than 700 polling organizations in the United States and more than 80 other countries from 1986 to the present.
  • Roper Center for Public Opinion, including Roper Express CU
    This database contains datasets and quick charts and graphs of polling back to the 1960s.
