What are they?QR codes (Quick response codes) are readable by most smartphones equipped with a camera. After reading the barcode the phone will point to a url, an image, a phone number, text, contact details etc. In a matter of seconds, useful information will be delivered directly to your phone.
Norlin Library has placed barcodes throughout the building at specific locations where questions are common. |
How to read them?To read the barcodes in Norlin, you will need to download the app from http://gettag.mobi.
Open the app and capture the QR code with your mobile device camera. The app will translate the QR code into a url, text, image, or phone number.
Examples of barcode supplied information include: a map of stack areas, textual instruction on technology use, access to mobile enabled library resources, chat with a librarian, or call a librarian.
