Present: Dean Jim Williams, Susan Anthes, Suzanne Larsen, Laura Wright(chair), Helene McHendry, Lorna Kent, Maureen Van Camp, Paul Moeller (secretary)

The LAB would like to thank those who provided feedback on the Spring Dean's Meeting. Your comments will help us prepare for the next meeting. The Dean would like to thank those who made the time to attend the meeting. He would
like to encourage all staff to attend these meeting in the future even if they are unable to attend the entire meeting.

The LAB will host a meeting designed to provide information about the rules and regulations concerning personnel issues. Details will be forthcoming.

Please send questions pertaining to hiring, promotion, temporary assignments... to Laura Wright, to any other LAB member, or to the LAB email box (liblab@colorado.edu).

The Libraries Awards Ceremony is to be held 2:00-4:00 on May 16 in the Earth Sciences Library. Awards for length of service are based on full-time equivalency and are calculated through December 31, 2001.

Laura reports that Roger Cornell has agreed to look for the Libraries' welcome banner.
