Present: Dean Jim Williams, Suzanne Larsen, Laura Wright (chair), Helene McHendry, Lorna Kent, Paul Moeller (secretary)

The LAB will host a meeting designed to provide information about the rules and regulations concerning personnel issues. The meeting will take place at 10:00 on Wednesday July 24 in N410. Kris Watson and Gloria Timmons of Human Resources will address staff issues. Charlene Kellsey, Chair of the Faculty Personnel Committee, and John Culshaw, Chair of the Tenure Committee, will address the hiring and promotion of faculty. Please send questions pertaining to hiring, promotion, temporary assignments ... to Laura Wright, to any other LAB member, or to the LAB email box (liblab@colorado.edu).

Laura reports that welcome banner has been located. It will be put up in August.

Many staff have voiced concerns about changes in the hours they are allowed to work in Norlin. Laura will meet with Scott Seaman to discuss these concerns. A note of clarification should be forthcoming. Please contact Laura or Scott if you have particular questions you would like them to address.

The LAB does not have any meetings scheduled this summer but will meet as necessary.
