February 10, 2003

Present: Dean Jim Williams, Susan Anthes, Suzanne Larsen, Maureen Van Camp, Christina Howard, Jane Zumwalt, Scott Seaman, Paul Moeller (secretary)

The following new members were welcomed to the LAB: Scott Seaman, Jane Zumwalt and Christina Howard.

Paul Moeller has agreed to serve as chair and Lorna Kent as secretary.

The Dean welcomed the new members to LAB. He reviewed the history and the role of the LAB. Budget considerations, compensation, benefits, hours of access to Norlin, and possible improvements to the LT III test were mentioned as possible items of discussion in 2003.

The LAB will host the Spring All-Libraries Meeting with the Libraries Cabinet on April 7 in the N410. There will be Refreshments from 8:30-9:00 and the meeting will be from 9:00 to 10:30. Please send questions for the Dean or issues to be addressed by other members of the Cabinet to liblab@colorado.edu, or to any member of LAB.

The current LAB would like to thank Laura Wright, Helene McHendry, and Debbie Hollis for their outstanding service to the LAB in 2002.
