Minutes: April 1, 2009
Present: Jim Williams, Holley Long, Lisa Gould, Karen Campbell, Matt Brower, Meri Willett, Sue Williams
1. The refrigerator signs in the staff lounge are in place. Lisa will ask John to tell the custodial supervisor that by us acquiring a second refrigerator, there should now be more space for the custodial staff in the other one.
2. It was brought to the LAB’s attention that some people have been using the sink in the staff lounge for brushing their teeth. We will post a sign over the sink reminding people that this is a food preparation area and that they should conduct personal hygiene activities in the restrooms.
3. The spring All-Libraries meeting went well. Some positive comments were made but nothing negative.
4. Ad Hoc Libraries Green Task Force
The task force will look at the feasibility of creating a green plan for the Libraries. Lisa and Karen will write a charge for the task force. Some people have already volunteered to serve on it. Jim will take the draft charge for the task force to Council for consideration.
