#1. Johann Suggestion Box
It was brought to the LAB's attention that individuals within the libraries may be unaware of the Johann Suggestion Box. The Johann Suggestion Box is available to submit concerns or suggestions to the Library Advisory Board for discussion. You may access the Johann Suggestion Box either by submitting a written request to the wooden box located in the Staff Lounge or by sending an email to liblab@colorado.edu
#2 Signage for Johann
The sign for the Johann Suggestion box has apparently disappeared. LAB is having a new sign made, and it will be installed soon.
#3 Pictures and Video at Events
The discussion of photographs and films of library events continued, as a clarification regarding the issue was submitted after publication of last month's LAB minutes. Individuals within the libraries have expressed concern that they do not want to be photographed or filmed. If an individual would like to be excluded from photographs and films of library functions, please let the photographer and/or filmmaker know at the beginning of an event. In addition, the Social Functions Committee will begin adding language to event announcements notifying library employees in advance that an event will include a photographer and/or filmmaker.
#4 Building Proctor Issues
There were 3 other concerns submitted to the suggestion box, but they were issues that should have been submitted to the Building Proctor. These issues have been forwarded on to be addressed. If you have issues concerning repairs that need to be made, or empty hand sanitizer etc, please contact the Building Proctor, Shelley Joy at ext. 2-8685 or by email at Shelley.Joy@colorado.edu
#5 Fall All Libraries Meeting
The Fall All Libraries Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 4, 2010 from
2 to 4 pm in the Center for British and Irish Studies. Please save the date.
