Supervisors: things you should know
- Meet with a member of our Libraries Information Technology Department at your workstation to go over Windows logons, your Identikey password, your e-mail account, and other important IT info. Alert the Libraries Information Technology Department of any permissions your new employee will need. For example: Millennium, web site, etc.
- Obtain an Emergency Quick Reference to review with your new employee. Give them a copy and be sure they fill out the back page and post it near their phone.
- Flex Time /Flex Place Policies & Procedures.
- Parking: Talk to Dylan.
- Business Cards: Talk with Bert / 303-492-6252.
- Advise about any necessary ITS training.
- Review PDQ with employee.
- Give employee a tour of your department/library. This might be a good time to show them the closest emergency exits and where the department meets in case of an evacuation.
- Request keys. In the branches, see the building proctor. In Norlin, see Dylan.
- Email Rhonda Flaningam approving long-distance phone authorization.
- Review MyCU and CUConnect.
- Discuss Patriot Act Training for PS employees.
