Human Relations Area Files (HRAF)

The Human Relations Area Files (HRAF) are an organized repository of information on the world's cultures. HRAF provides historic and descriptive data on over 330 ethnic, national, and religious groups from around the world.

To use the files effectively, researchers must first understand how they are organized. Therefore, an appointment for basic instruction must be made before using the files for the first time.
